Wills & Testament

A will is how you decide who receives what — and how you decide who acts for your children. In the UAE, non-Muslim residents can register a will under DIFC or Dubai Courts, and it will be enforced on UAE soil without going through the local Sharia default. We help you draft it and register it.

What we handle

  • Structured interview to record your wishes
  • Drafting by a qualified lawyer, bilingual
  • Registration appointment at the registry of your choice
  • Follow-up to the registered copy in your hand

What you provide

  • 01Passport and Emirates ID copies
  • 02Title deeds or a list of the assets the will covers
  • 03Full legal names of beneficiaries and their relationship to you
  • 04Guardian details, if you have minor children
  • 05Executor details, if you are appointing one

How it works

Step by step.

  1. Interview

A 45-minute structured session, in person or by video, records your wishes, your assets, and your family situation.

  2. Draft

A qualified lawyer drafts the will in plain language, translated to Arabic where the registry requires it.

  3. Review

You read the draft and mark anything to change. We reissue until you approve the final wording.

  4. Register

You attend one appointment at the DIFC or Dubai Courts registry. The will is signed, witnessed, and entered on the register.

Good to know

Before you start.

  • Family protection

Ensures your spouse and children inherit exactly as you intend, not under the default rules that apply without a will.

  • Guardianship for minors

Names who will look after your children if neither parent can, and how their schooling and property are managed.

  • Business interests

Sets out who takes your shares or partnership stake, and on what terms, so the business is not frozen.

  • Property and real estate

Says who receives UAE property, and how a mortgaged or jointly-held asset is handled.

  • Avoiding disputes

A registered will removes the arguments that otherwise fall to the courts to settle.

  • Estate planning

For international families with assets in more than one country, we plan the UAE portion to work alongside the will you hold elsewhere.
